it's OFFICIAL!
on the 24th of may , kiwana boy has made himself proud by making a comeback after a hurtful downfall on the previous week.. by executing every single move with his car to pass his driving exams. **phEW**
haha, hello life , i am so glad that my 'burden' has been removed from my heart and glad to announce that i am an OFFICIAL driver. yay!! hahaha.. now , i am waiting for monday to receive my license =] and i'll be roaming down the streets pretty soon. but i gotta admit.. i am a verY .. terribly slow driver on the road. haha, those motorcylists who just pop up out of nowheregodknows and make the slightest cut near your car, really freak me out .. especially when i sit beside my dad .. man, i gotta toughen myself up. and everyone that i know is driving An AUTOMATIC car.. wahlao.. ahhaha.. what happened to the MANUALs.. ah COMELAH monday.. and i shall take my old DATSUN car for a spin.
yesterday i went down to the immigration centre to renew my passport. haha.. procedures were pretty usual and mundane but! stereotypes WERE always alive though.. yes people, i was mistaken by the looks ..again.. since the age of 9..

okays okays.. many of you of know me might say that i always bring up this topic.. but you know.. every encounter with these people is special..this time .. a pregnant officer attended to me .then as she checked thru my documents.. she smiled and grinned for a while.. this is the convo:

officer: haha, okays .. cos you do have the feature of a malay boy
kb : ah , well, everyone says so. (-glass shatterings-)
officer:hehe, so you're mixed lah i presume...

yes , since she was pregnant .. i played along with her.. =] we joked along lah here and there since it was not crowded on that say. i pray that she'll get a healthy baby yah..she was nice and pleasant .
haha, dear readers, kiwana boy has no intentions of bringing up any racial issue right here k neither is he facing any stereotype depression.. haha. i'm totally okay with it .. haha..back in singapore only 2 immediately SPOKE MANDARIN TO ME.those were my happiest moments the rest were like the above.. abt my classmates.. i can't remember lah.. haha..
okay let me enlighten you some facts about me yah..my dad is a 'teo-chew nang ' and my mum is a ' chinese peranakan' . apparently my dad , although a teo-chew nang, he has 1/4 siamese blood due and 3/4 chinese.. wow.. my mum, has 1/8 MALAY BLOOD, and the rest chinese ..because her grandmum was a malay married to a chinese.. and now the question : why am i not muslim ? because at that time , people were not strict with the ISLAMIC regulations. according to mum , only women married to malay men must be converted where else for the otherwise , it is optional.
CONCLUSION: i have a trace of malay blood,siamese, and chinese. haha. looks like the recessive amt was the major factor which determined my looks. haha. well, that further consolidates my malay look le. so 'bo-pian'lah when people call me a malay. i also reply 'ya allah' [a.k.a oh my god] . lol..no offense there ah!
all right moving on...
HIGH TEA SESSION. NUS has sent me invitation to attend a tea session TODAY. and i declined it lah .. cos i have made up my mind.. but reading their agenda totally shaken my NTU determination. first things first , it IS ' NOT AN HOUR of INFO and ANOTHER HOUR of teasession and tour' kinda session .. unlike NTU .. aihz. it starts from 2.30pm and ends pretty late at night .. thats right late at night.. 2.30 to 6 plus will include talks , breaks , games , and refreshments.. and the HIGHLIGHT!!!! :

OMG...WHY NUS SO 'ZAI' ONE............in the letter.. buses will be provided from the tea session and admission plus drink charges will be covered.. okay lah , i mean not to the extent of liquor lah.. then in the mail.. it is suppose to end at 8pm at St James.. and for those who would like to stay on can do so.. OH MY GOD>.....WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! haha
if only i knew nus's hospitality.. i would have...oh my , what am i typing..CANNOT!

N T U is better.wahaha, must be loyal nia. i am enjoying life right now.. come to think of it, it is the 2nd longest holiday I can get in life .. so i MUST TREASURE it kao kao.. cos the next long holiday will be the day that i retire..
