Firstly I would like to heartily congratulate my humble and jovial PRIME MINISTER dato seri datuk Abdullah badawi for finding his new partner in life, Jeanne Abdullah! it was like a meteorite crash lah when it appeared in the news .. well , FYI, PM has lost a very caring wife, datin endon to cancer 2 years back. She was very passionate about promoting Malaysia’s cultural and the ARTs. Three of them have known each other for a very very long time, and I am confident that he must have gotten his wife’s blessings.
a snippet about PM and his bride-to-be.
Jeanne Abdullah, 53, is also the former sister-in-law of his late wife Endon Mahmood, who died of breast cancer in October 2005, the prime minister told reporters.
Endon's death triggered an outpouring of support and sympathy for Abdullah, whose love for his wife inspired many Malaysians. Their 40-year marriage was widely considered a model relationship.
"My love for Endon remains as strong as ever but I have fallen in love with this one," Abdullah said.
"I believe that God has created in your heart many spaces for many people that you can love as much as you want."
http://asia.news.yahoo.com/070606/afp/070606151959asiapacificnews.htmlah, such speech PM. RESPECT.He will be getting married this Thursday. I WISH YOU NOTHING BUT HAPPINESS and I strongly believe with a woman standing behind him, PM Abdullah will bring Malaysia to greater heights!
Hello life, these past 2 days have been wonderful especially Wednesday , where I took a trip down to KL to take a look at my comp accessories. It was like 6 months since the last time I came to KL and we started off our journey by getting lost in KL. *lol* we actually walked and walked around and asked around for direction to find a direct bus to our destination. After 25 minutes, we just reached this conclusion. ‘Isn’t this we boarded our bus earlier on?’ Haha, we immediately pointed fingers at each other and laughed along eventually. We took the train instead and it was much more convenient even though it was rather a lil’ expensive.
We finally reached Low Yat Plaza , the techies and gadgets haven for everybody.. it claims to be the best place to get the best deal for any electronics in Malaysia. Well, for my Singaporean friends.. it’s a.k.a SIM LIM SQUARE. Haha I am sure that rings a bell to you guys. Okay , we were checking out laptops and speakers.. haha, I was so doubtful about speakers ‘cos I am definitely a dummy when it comes to buying such stuff.. For speakers, we are ought to look out for the power of the bass..So that when we blast our music, the feeling will be very ecstatic ! so NTU , ready to be rocked by DJ KIWANA bOY. haha, my friends recommended this powerful ALTEC LANSING speaker worth RM165. wah , initially I was really hesitant cos it’s kinda expensive but heck, it was worth the investment. I never regretted every single second upon the purchase. Bought myself a usb hub and a Samsung keyboard for my laptop too. My next target to come : a COOLER pad for my laptop. I was so amazed about the things you can equip laptop with.. the cooler is basically placed underneath your laptop and has 2/3 mini fans blowing the heat off the computer.. it’s like whoa.. even laptops can be given so much care! Cool sia.
Then at night , as planned we went watching shrek 3. it wasn’t that as promising as the 1st two . but hey, doing a trilogy is definitely not easy ..shrek 3 was just plain lame lah .. haha.. Only kids can be entertained so much by the cuteness of shrek and his co-characters. The only thing that entertained me was puss repeating his trademark at early part of the movie and also as DONKEY. *LOL* donkey is just funny. But none the less I was pretty turned off with shrek’s dream about his baby… vomiting like a water hose [which totally imitated scary movie] and the million copies of his baby haunting him.. so …annoying. It was like they are just making that part for the sake of doing it. But yalah, what more I can bargain for …it’s only RM6. =P
Friends are catching Pirates of the Caribbean 3 tonight and I won’t be joining them. For the very obvious reason, I did not catch pirates 1 and 2. All I could remember was that I slept 10 minutes after pirates 1. Probably, I couldn’t be convinced to watch it again. =]
Finally, I have gotten myself some things and I am in the mood to get more. haha, is this how gals feel when they do shopping? I wonder. Perhaps, it’s called the shopping adrenaline. One thing is for sure; if there is something that has caught your eyes, just buy it regardless of the price. That’s one lesson I learnt from my December trip to KL. I was so attracted to this ADICOLOR t shirt which was worth RM35 because it was the ‘clearing of stock season’.. When I got home I went to an adidas shop and I found out that ADICOLOR was also no more available. Oh no. I totally regretted my ignorance. Now, when I am about to buy expensive stuffs, I would just console myself with this line, ‘’ it’s an investment. A fruitful one.’’ And it works! Haha. I’m trying to break the calculative barrier in me and making myself more flexible when it comes to shopping. One thing that I can’t resist spending on is food. Food is a NECESSITY. I do not mind a single bit cos’ I am trying out new cuisines and It definitely pampers my taste bud. As the saying goes, ‘’ I LIVE TO EAT’’.ah talking about food, I am so craving for a SUSHI BUFFET. Waiting to enjoy it in Singapore !! oh yah,SONY MID YEAR PROMO is here too.. eyeing on a new mp3. =]
